Loved by Mancunians, the 130,000m2 shopping complex is a thriving shopping destination perfectly positioned at the heart of Manchester’s buzzing city center.
The initial concept took a recognizable emblem of the city, the worker bee, and used this as the starting point. From here, the idea was developed to give it more targeted appeal for Arndale’s fashion-conscious shoppers. We took the hexagonal shape of the honeycomb and used this as the base for creating different elements and motifs in golden honeyed tones.
