Town of Vsetín

The Czech town of Vsetín wanted to create a warm and inviting festive atmosphere to spread Christmas cheer to residents and visitors over the holiday season. They also wanted to use existing natural structures and highlight them with lighting, rather than focus on large-scale light sculptures.

The solution was to brighten up the streets by draping the local trees with string lights in a mix of ice white and warm white to interest and, of course, light.

Not only did residents love the illuminated streets, but they felt safer when night fell, too, which was an added benefit of the seasonal lighting.
